Roaster's Notes
This delicious single origin offering from Huila, Colombia is grown in the rich, fertile soil surrounding the Nevado del Huila Volcano. This great coffee has a pleasant citrus acidity, notes of cherry, sweet caramel aroma, and smooth, balanced body.
This is our third year/season to work with this coffee and the quality has continued to improve every year, a strong testament to the consistently high standards at the producer-level and quality of the terroir.
We wanted this coffee to serve as the "all-rounder" single origin, a special coffee with a roast profile that is pleasing to a wide range of pallets. Balance was the name of the game to highlight familiar flavor notes to lovers of Huila coffees, presented in a simple and clean cup.
This coffee is fantastic on drip, espresso, hot or cold!
